In The Next Six Months, People May Stone Buhari; GEJ Is Politically Naive – Apostle Johnson Suleman

In The Next Six Months, People May Stone Buhari; GEJ Is Politically Naive – Apostle Johnson Suleman

In an interview with Punch Newspaper, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, who prophesied that many politicians who lost in the last election would win, speaks on why some of his prophecies didn’t come to pass.

(Pls Read the most disturbing part of the chat below:)

So will Nigeria get the change it needs in Buhari?

Let me say this to you. In the next six months, people may stone Buhari. The reason I’m saying this is because the expectation is too high. Nigerians expect Buhari to put gold on their tables. Two, the large chunk of followership Buhari has are youths and young people and they are impatient. Young people don’t believe in progressive change, they want change. When they say change, they see a new picture. And Buhari has been talking from the two sides of the mouth. During campaign, he told us Boko Haram would be a thing of the past. Now, you are President-elect, you are saying people shouldn’t expect a miracle. Are you a pastor? If I wanted a miracle worker, won’t I bring a Mallam or a miracle worker? When you were being voted for, we were not voting for a pastor, so don’t tell us about miracles. Like I said, Jonathan will be seen as a hero very soon because that’s the Nigerian story. Anybody who they feel is not doing well, get him out. The next few minutes, they miss this person. If by September, there is still a blink in power, people will start abusing Buhari. You said you were going to do this. Two, who are Buhari’s footmen, the large chunk are ex-PDP people and of course you know, many are still defecting. Nigerian politicians are the most shameless people (I know); they can’t bear hunger. They are defecting now to lobby for offices. If you should check the people around the man, it gives you an idea of where the man is heading. If you check the agenda, listen to their campaign, it wasn’t about issues, it was about personality. Change this man! And I wanted us to talk about what the issues are, brainstorm to make things better. I heard he had a five-hour meeting behind closed doors with President Jonathan. He has now seen the reality of how deep the issues are and it has now dawned on him that the man sitting there was actually managing to survive. That is one thing about leadership. When the ball is passed to you, you realise it’s deeper than you think. So I do not see change in Nigeria. The only change I see is we have a breath of fresh air, a new government. To say there will be instant change in Nigeria, I doubt. We are praying as Christians and believers. It doesn’t matter what the enemy is trying to do in Nigeria, as believers, we know that the will of God will be done.

IZON IBE SECURITY FIRM BLAMES FIRE INCIDENCE AT SPDC FACILITY IN OGBIA LGA ON SABOTAGE, VOWS TO FISH OUT PERPETRATORS

IZON IBE SECURITY FIRM BLAMES  FIRE INCIDENCE AT SPDC FACILITY IN OGBIA LGA ON SABOTAGE, VOWS TO FISH OUT PERPETRATORS

The Izon-Ibe Security Company Limited has blamed the April 20th, 2015 fire incident on the 20" Kolo Creek-Rumuekpe (TNP) trunk line at Oruma in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State on sabotage.

Managing Director of Izon-Ibe Security Company Limited, Chief James Jephthah in a statement warned that all those involved in the heinous act would be fished out and made to face the full wrath of the law.

He said though the number of surveillance operatives in the company's employ was inadequate due to the vast area of coverage, it has deployed personnel to cover flash points and strategic locations for the purpose of securing pipelines and other oil and gas facilities.

The statement reads in part, "In the early hours of Monday, 20th of April 2015, there was a report of fire incidence on the 20" Kolo Creek to Remuekpe (TNP) trunk line at Oruma in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

"This location forms part of our coverage area so we started investigations immediately.

"The Izon-Ibe security company deployed staff (personnel and resources) to the field,  with particular reference to finding the remote and immediate course of the incident. On location, we discovered that it was an act of sabotage carried out by unknown persons who used saw blades, fuel jericans and other local materials to perpetrate the act.

"As stated in our earlier report, part of the challenges is inadequate manpower as the present one thousand, five hundred personnel cannot adequately cover every inch of the vast areas of Ogbia, Nembe, Brass and Yenagoa Local Government Areas of Bayelsa State.

"What we have done in the mean time is to deploy men to cover strategic flash points within the areas covered in the scope of operations of the various communities, the company considers it expedient to deploy personnel to 'flash points'  and 'strategies locations' for the purpose of securing pipelines and other oil and gas facilities.

"These deployments took into consideration because of the need for regular patrols and other surveillance activities critical to the successful operation of the Izon-ibe Security company.

We are glad to report that SHELL PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY had since carried out repair work on the affected area of the line.
However, investigation is still ongoing."

Former Governor Sylva, Standing Trial Over Money Laundering Charges Heads Buhari’s Transition Team

Former Governor Sylva, Standing Trial Over Money Laundering Charges Heads Buhari’s Transition Team

The Former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, will represent the incoming administration of Muhammadu Buhari in the inauguration committee to usher in the new government on May 29.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has formally instituted criminal charges against former governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva, for laundering close to N5 billion of funds belonging to Bayelsa state.

He will co-chair the committee with Anyim Pius Anyim, secretary to the government of the federation, who is representing the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.

Sylva who succeeded Jonathan as governor of Bayelsa State in 2007 is currently standing trial over allegations of corruption.

He is widely reported as a major financier of the Muhammadu Buhari campaign, and a leading APC member in Bayelsa who funded the purchase of Buhari’s Presidential form.

Buhari widely feared for his anti-corruption has now made the former governor to head his inauguration committee, a move a political analyst tells NewsWireNGR questions Nigeria’s President-elect commitment to the war against corruption.

Felix Nwankwo,”I have heard that Sylva is heading the President’s-elect team, it goes to tell the fears we’ve always had, how Buhari seeks to fight corruption will men like that backing him will be tough.”

“Most of those that have defected to the APC are doing so for fear of Prosecution and the first ever appointment by Buhari is electing a man with questions to answer while he governed his state”? Nwwankwo stated.

Sylva defected from the PDP and was one of the founding leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but his party chairmanship bid last year was stalled partly because of his trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

On Thursday, the presidential inauguration planning committee announced a one-week programme of activities leading to the inauguration of Buhari.

At a joint press briefing by Anyim and Sylva, they revealed that the week-long programme will include Jumaat prayers, inter-denominational ?church service, inauguration dinner, ?swearing-in ceremony?, lunch immediately after the swearing-in and a gala night? on May 29.

Anyim said ?there are two parallel committees: the transition committee and inauguration committee.

He spent the better part of Tuesday and Wednesday receiving guests at the Defence House located opposite the Legacy House which serves as the campaign headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party.
When The Nation visited the place, a horde of security operatives were seen on guard while visitors were properly screened before being allowed into the premises.
It was also observed that the building was wearing a new look, a clear indication that it was only recently renovated.
Buhari, who was declared winner of the 2015 presidential election, was operating from his private residence in the Asokoro area of Abuja before leaving the FCT for Daura where he took part in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
He spent an extra one week in Daura receiving guests, both local and foreign before leaving for Kaduna where he received another set of guests including former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
On Tuesday, the President elect played host to the ECOWAS chairman and President of Ghana, John Mahama at the Defence House before leaving for his campaign headquarters where he received a delegation from Kogi and Kwara States.
The Spokesman of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Mallam Garba Shehu, told The Nation that the Defence House has been made available to the President elect for his official engagements.
“Yes, the Defence House was handed over a few days ago after its renovation,” Shehu said in a text message when asked if the Defence House is now the operational base of the President elect.

I’ll make Naira equal in value to dollar, says Buhari

Owerri – The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday said he would ensure that the Naira was equal to the dollar in value, if voted into office.
Buhari stated this during the South-East presidential rally of the party at Dan Anyima Stadium, Owerri.
“It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar; this does not speak well for the nation’s economy,’’ he said.
He urged the people to vote for APC, noting that he would ensure that corruption was tackled headlong if elected.
Earlier, Gov Rochas Okorocha had urged APC supporters to vote for the party’s candidates at all levels, noting that a vote for Buhari without support to others at the state would amount to nothing.
Okorocha said Buhari would address the problem of electricity, bring back the kidnapped Chibok girls and promote industrial growth.
buhari-NairaHe said that Buhari was loved by the people in the region and urged them to elect him and other APC candidates during the March 28 and April 11 general elections.

The rally was attended by APC supporters from Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu and Imo. (NAN)
