Bayelsa Assembly Polls: First Lady, Patience Jonathan, Dudafa Candidates defeated
...Tonye Isenah, Ongore Ebikeme in the lead

18-4-2015.
Bayelsa PDP candidates in the rescheduled House of Assembly polls in Sagbama, Southern Ijaw and Kolokuma-Opokuma are already coasting home to victory.

Our source at the various collation Centres in most of the polling units visited, says the PDP candidates in Kolokuma-Opokuma LGA are clearly in the lead. Hon. Tonye Isenah of KOLGA constituency 1 and Hon. Ongore Ebikeme Joshua of constituency 2 are leading by a wide margin.

Sources said APGA candidates sponsored by First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan and Waripamowei Dudafa were roundly defeated at the polls inspite of their undue interference and manipulation of the process.

Similarly, reports of the polls result filtering in the other constituencies in Sagbama, Ekeremor and Southern Ijaw LGAs also reveal that all the PDP candidates are clearly in the lead.

According to the source, it is very certain that PDP will have clean sweep of all the 8 constituencies in the rescheduled polls conducted today.

Meanwhile, Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson after casting his vote along with his wife, Rachael, at his hometown in polling Unit 5, Orue-Ereware at Toru- Orua, Sagbama Ward 2 in Sagbama Local Government Area, commended INEC and security agencies for the orderly conduct of the polls.
