GOV DICKSON PUSHES VACATION FORWARD FOR PRESSING STATE AND NATIONAL DUTIES

GOV DICKSON PUSHES VACATION FORWARD FOR PRESSING STATE AND NATIONAL DUTIES

30 July 2013.
Due to very pressing State and National assignments, His Excellency Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson has moved his 3 weeks annual vacation to take effect from the 15th of August, 2013.

The leave had been planned to commence from the 5th of August, 2013.

According to a Government House statement, the decision to move the date was among other things informed by the Governor's present role as Chairman of the PDP Reconciliation Committee, the need for expeditious attention to the committee's job and other pressing state duties.

The leave itself is going to be a working leave as he is expected to break up at some intervals to attend to pressing issues at both State and National levels.

The statement expressed gratitude to Bayelsans for their understanding and cooperation, stressing that, the Governor will remain focused and will not be distracted in the implementation of his administration's restoration programme to the people of the State.
